Before I shared anything with others, I needed to feel good about the foundation the company is built on. It's mission, purpose, integrity and guiding principles. David Schmidt has often spoken about studying nature for clues about health, longevity, and renewal. One example he uses is the lobster, which is known for its unusual aging biology and its continued production of telomerase. These kinds of studies appear to have influenced his work by encouraging him to look for natural patterns, signals, and “codes” within the body that could be supported through light-based technology. To me, that matters because his work is not just built around selling a product. It reflects a larger curiosity about God’s creation, the intelligence built into the body, and how technology might support the body’s natural ability to restore, renew, and function better.
He studies nature for answers, then looks for ways to support the body through light.
